Amcad & Graphics was founded in 1997 by owners Chris Edwards and Todd Morris. The company originally began selling CAD equipment and supplies to architects and engineers. Pen plotters used for printing vector graphics were the first computer printers. These plotters were used in applications such as computer aided design, which is where the name Amcad came from. As technology advanced pen plotters became obsolete and were replaced by wide format conventional printers. In 2013 Mike Osman became a partner of Amcad & Graphics with over 30 years of experience in the digital market which he used to help develop the companies’ private product line, Starline.

Amcad & Graphics founded CWT Worktools in 2009 with the intent to develop new methods and new innovative tools for Digital Printers and for the Sign Industry in general.

IECHO cooperated with CWT in 2018. As IECHO's distributor in the U.S. market, CWT is committed to improving customer production efficiency. IECHO provides machines for CWT, and CWT provides technical support and market development. The two sides work together. Mutual benefit and win-win.

CWT is active in exhibitions all over the world and has won many awards. At this difficult time in 2020, it has continuously broken the limits and won the PRINTING United Alliance 2020 Product of the Year Award.
